Part 2: Spiritual reality

2 Cor. 4:18

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

The realm of the spiritual is unseen.

Angels are spirits (Hebr. 1:13-14).

Some of them are fallen angels (Rev. 12:7-9).

One third of the angels fell with Lucifer (Rev. 12:4)

These are what we call “evil spirits”

The chariots of Israel (2 Kings:8-23)

Elisha prayed for God to open the servants eyes so he could see the spiritual dimension.

The swing-door of the occult

– it may just close shut behind you

The invisible made visible

– Jesus, the incarnation of God

– the key to all spiritual understanding

Satan: the father of lies (John 8:44)

– he wants to influence us, draw us away from God

– the god of this world

– tries to make his unholy copies of what God does
