Ode to Mother-in-Law (2015)

She had a special light
That always shone so bright
She struggled for so long
And made herself so strong

That light was then snuffed out
I know without a doubt
Allthough ten years have gone
We have to carry on

You left a gaping hole
That is beyond control
We think of you each day
And what you used to say

Soon we will meet again
Give you warm hugs, and then
We’ll never part no more
But just like eagles soar

That day we will not cry
And never say good bye
But laugh and smile and talk
Then we’ll together walk
